Below is the text of the poem, "Mi Ultimo Adiós" (My Final Farewell), Mi Ultimo Adiós; Adios, Patria adorada, region del sol querida, Perla del Mar de Oriente, nuestro perdido Eden!
Mi Ultimo Adios was written on the night before Rizal was executed in Bagumbayan. The poem was hidden inside a gas lamp that Rizal gave to one of his sisters.
