Chinese Water Dragons (Physignathus Cocincinus) are by far a hardy and magnificent creature.

Water dragons are native to the Southeast Asian mainland and Indo-Australian archipelago. Most imports arrive from Thailand or southern China.

There a several different types of "water dragons," but this site will be based on the Chinese water dragon, or Asian or Green water dragon. The scientific name is Physignathus cocincinus.
